With more than three decades of experience translating Italian into English, I bring both technical rigour and authentic cultural insight to every project. My background is genuinely unusual: born and educated in the UK, I lived in Italy for twelve years — mastering the language from the inside — before settling in the United States. That lived experience of three cultures shapes every translation I deliver.
I hold the Chartered Institute of Linguists Diploma in Translation (CIOL DipTrans), one of the most respected professional credentials in the field, and have translated well over two million words across legal, medical, scientific, literary, and business domains.
